Knights face-off against Smithfield

The Red Knight Mighty Mites took on Smithfield over the weekend, falling to the Packers by a 27-12 margin in youth football.

Offensively, Tyrell Daisy led Gloucester with six carries for 46 yards and a touchdown. Durrall Daisy had six carries for 41 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Broughman had six carries for 30 yards.

Alijah Pluim and Broughman each had eight tackles, followed by Tyrell with seven, Durrall with six, Cam Pluim with four, Declan Schneider and Gabe Wolford with three tackles each, and Caleb Beyer, Brayden Mikkelson, Tommy Lemon and Evan Davenport with two tackles apiece. Wolford also forced a fumble which was recovered by Lemon.

Mites

The Gloucester Red Mites fell to the Packers, 33-6. Evan McNulty rushed for a total of 107 yards and one touchdown. Matthew Pryor had five tackles, followed by Ethan Statts, Anthony Starks and McNulty with four tackles each, Lamont Frazier with three tackles, and Aiden Lewis with two.
