The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League Knights 12U team beat the Suffolk Bulldogs, 20-19, in recent action.Offensively, Tyrell Daisy had 166 total yards, one touchdown kick return and 12 passing yards. Caleb Beyer had 29 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Durrall Daisy had 61 rushing yards and Alijah Pluim had 19 rushing yards.On defense, Jacob Lewis led the charge with 13 tackles, followed by Jeremiah Woolfork with nine tackles. Tyrell Daisy, Declan Schneider and Pluim had five tackles each.

For 6U and 8U cheer, Genesis Pluim was named most spirited and Thea Oast had the best technique. For 10U, 12U and 14U cheer, Elizabeth Daisy was named most spirited and Cassidy Smith had the best technique.

The Knights also defeated the Community Broncos, 13-8, over the weekend.Durrall Daisy led the offensive effort with 101 total yards and one touchdown. Tyrell Daisy had 56 yards and 16 passing yards. Declan Schneider had an interception and scored a touchdown.
