Kelsick Market under new ownership

Kelsick Specialty Market on Gloucester’s Main Street is now under new ownership. Beth Haskell, who founded and owned the business for nearly 30 years, sold it to Yorktown native Paige Drewry, it was announced Tuesday.

Drewry, 23, always knew she wanted to open her own business, but was waiting for the right sign and the right opportunity, according to a release. “A natural-born foodie, I’ve worked in food service, studied culinary arts and business and traveled throughout Europe studying wine,” she said. “I felt called to Kelsick Specialty Market and just know that I’m supposed to be here, in this community, ushering the market into its next chapter.”
