Johnson scores 4 goals in win over Warriors

The Gloucester varsity field hockey team shut out the Kecoughtan Warriors, 9-0, on Tuesday, extending the team’s record to 7-0 while the Warriors fell to 3-1.

The Dukes were led by Channy Johnson who recorded an impressive four goals and two assists. Kaylee Hall scored a goal as well and recorded two assists. Mackenzie Reece, Reese Miller, Kamryn McDonough and Peyton Sutton recorded the other goals. Avery Watkins, Bailey Wilson, Reece, McDonough and Miller each recorded an assist.

The Dukes will look to extend their winning streak today as they host Jamestown at 4 p.m.
