John L. Holloway, age 45, of Gloucester Point, Va., passed away on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021. He loved his family very much and he had a great passion for working on the water.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Margret Emily Kellum; granddad, Norman Kellum, and mother, Norma Gail Holloway. He is survived by his father, Earnest Holloway; daughters, Olivia, Ashley, and Brittney Holloway; sisters, Lisa Jenkins (Mike), Mona Burruss (Steve), and Amy Carter (Bain); fiancée, Ericka Fox; nephews, Joshua Davis (Caroline), Michael Davis and Jordan Burruss; nieces, Brooke Keeton and Hannah Carter, and several great-nieces and -nephews. He was loved by many other family members and very close friends.

He will always remain in our hearts and be greatly loved and missed.

Services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Gloucester, Va., on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 2 p.m. Family will receive visitors following the service in the church hall.

Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, Newport News, is assisting the family.
