InsideOut Yoga offers six-week Movement Therapy series

From Jan. 6 through March 3, InsideOut Yoga of White Stone will be offering a special six-week Movement Therapy series, according to IOY owner and instructor, Susan Johnson.

The series will be taught by Morgann Rose of Dance of a Rose LLC and will take place Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock in White Stone.

The class is open to adults of all ages and no experience is necessary, said Johnson.

“Living a healthy lifestyle begins with maintaining a strong and fit body,” said Rose, a former principal dancer with the Washington Ballet. “My Movement Therapy method is based on principles of yoga, dance, tai chi and swimming. Each class will leave you feeling lighter and stronger while providing relief from tight muscles and stiff joints.”
