The Gloucester County public utilities department will conduct an informational meeting next Thursday, Jan. 23, to inform residents of the progress of the proposed Terrapin Cove sewer extension project at Hayes. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in Waterman’s Hall at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, 1375 Greate Road, Gloucester Point. 

Scheduled speakers include Chris Hutson, Gloucester Point’s representative to the Gloucester Board of Supervisors, and public utilities director Marty Schlesinger.
