Everyone interested in volunteering for the 2026 Guinea Jubilee, which will be held in September, is encouraged to attend an informational meeting and free BBQ lunch at Buck’s Store Museum on Saturday, beginning at noon. “Come enjoy good food, learn how you can get involved, and help shape one of Guinea’s most beloved traditions,” said Guinea Jubilee committee member Sharon Zuber. The Guinea Jubilee is always held on the last Friday and Saturday in September at the Abingdon Ruritan Club grounds, 8784 Guinea Road, Bena. Fourth Friday On Friday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m., the Guinea Heritage Association will hold its monthly Fourth Friday program.
