The Mathews Branch of the NAACP donated over fifty copies of the book, “I Promise” by LeBron James to first graders at Mathews Elementary School on Dec. 11. The picture book, inspired by his foundation’s I Promise program, is designed to motivate children everywhere to always strive for greatness.
