Mathews County residents are invited to a hunter-landowner meeting at 6 p.m. next Thursday, Oct. 30, in the general district courtroom at Liberty Square, 10622 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews.
The purpose of the meeting, said a press release from Mathews Sheriff April Edwards, is to provide a productive opportunity for hound hunters, private landowners, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to build positive relationships, address concerns, and collaboratively develop solutions to help avert conflict and benefit the local community.
