Horsley earns 9 citations for recent catches

William A. Horsley of Gloucester, a frequent winner of citations in the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament, has qualified for nine additional awards as listed in the July 27 and Aug. 3 online issues of vasaltwaterjournal.com.

Horsley earned a release citation for a 52-inch red drum he caught on July 8. He also gathered seven citations for his specialty fish, sheepshead—two on July 8 weighing 11 pounds, 10 ounces and 10 pounds, 14 ounces, one on July 4 weighing 11 pounds, 7 ounces, two on July 22 weighing 13 pounds, 11 ounces and 12 pounds, 6 ounces, and two on July 15 weighing 11 pounds, 12 ounces and 12 pounds, 8 ounces.

Horsley fishes in Chesapeake Bay.
