Horse show Saturday in Dutton

More than 50 classes are scheduled for the Mathews Horse & Pony Club’s North East 4H District Qualifying Show beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at 11020 Dancers Creek Road, Dutton.
Level 1 and 2 skills testing will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon, at a cost of $10, cash only, in addition to the regular show bill. Those using the show to qualify must pay an additional $10 cash to 4-H staff. There will also be horse measurements.
There are a variety of classes in Western Pleasure, Halter, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Ranch Rail, and Hunter. There will be at least one class each in Gaited Country Pleasure, English Pleasure, Trail, Ranch, and Lead Line. There are also over a dozen mini classes.
Additionally, there are a number of fun classes, including Horseless Class, an Egg and Spoon Race, and a Patriotic Costume Class.
