The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association participated in a three-way “Home & Away” match play competition with teams from Indian Creek (Kilmarnock) and Viniterra (New Kent) golf clubs. Each club fielded six two-person teams and played a series of three matches at each of the home courses. In the final competition on Friday at Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club, the Piankatank River team took first place overall in the competition with a total score of 34.5. The Viniterra ladies followed in second with 26.5 and Indian River ladies scored 20 points.
