Historic sites throughout Gloucester will take part in a Holiday Open House on Saturday in an event sponsored by Visit Gloucester Virginia.
Locations and times include:
Ware Episcopal Church, 7825 John Clayton Memorial Highway, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The Gloucester Farmers’ Market will be operating;
Gloucester Museum of History, 6539 Main Street, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., with refreshments, music and costumed interpreters;
The Pocahontas Museum, 7339 Lewis Avenue, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.;
The Edgehill House, 6805 Main Street, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., tours, hot cider and cookies;
Gloucester Fine Arts Museum, 6894 Main Street, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.;
Gloucester County Main Library, 6920 Main Street, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Santa visits 10-12:30; Bayside Youth Ballet at 2 p.m.;
Holly Knoll, Gloucester Institute/Moton Center, 6496 Allmondsville Road, Capahosic, 2-4 p.m., self-guided tours and light refreshments;
