The Gloucester Rowing Association, a 501(c)(3) organization, will host its seventh annual Guinea Dipping fundraiser from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, rain or shine, at the Gloucester Point Beach, as members of the crew and community will brave the frigid waters of the York River to raise funds for the GRA. For $30 a person, participants can take the polar plunge and receive an event T-shirt while raising funds to help GRA continue to make this sport possible for Gloucester teenagers. This year, GRA is specifically raising funds to purchase a heavyweight double rowing shell, a boat that the organization will need for the spring regatta season.
