Gerald and Sabrina Moody of Gloucester will hold a grand opening for their new business, Moody’s Event Center, from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the White Marsh Shopping Center on Route 17.

Guests will be able to view the large banquet hall that accommodates up to 225 people, the smaller Serenity Room for gatherings of up to 75 people, and the full commercial kitchen that will offer both on-site catering and preparation space for those who prefer to cater their own events. There will also be a food tasting of the appetizers on the Moody’s menu.

Gerald Moody said that the venue offers space for everything from business meetings to weddings, birthday parties to reunions. A newly-installed floor will offer generous space for dancing.
