Gloucester suffers tough week

The Gloucester High School boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams faced a tough week, falling to both Woodside and Heritage.

The Gloucester boys lost to Woodside, 99-30, at home Friday night. Dylan De-Young led the scoring for the Dukes with nine points. For the girls, Gloucester lost to Woodside, 60-17.

Heritage

Gloucester traveled Tuesday night to face Heritage. The Lady Dukes lost to the Hurricanes, 55-11. The Dukes also lost to Heritage, 84-44. DeYoung led Gloucester in scoring again with 14 points, followed by Declyn Marshfield with four points.
