The Williamsburg Senior Softball League has named its 2023 Board of Directors. Gloucester residents Joanne Webb-Fary and Wes Ripley will serve as Communications Director and Treasurer, respectively.
The Williamsburg Senior Softball league is a daytime slow-pitch softball league for men over 50 and women over 40. The league has a membership of over 100 players of varied skill levels and from Williamsburg and its surrounding localities, including Gloucester and Mathews.
The 2023 season will begin in April and runs through October, with a mid-season break in the summer. Out-of-season skills clinics, practices and scrimmages will start in January at the Williamsburg Indoor Soccer Complex. There will be a free open house at the WISC on Jan. 5 and 10 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
