Gloucester parks have something for everyone

With school out and warm weather here, getting outside can be a fantastic way to spend your summer months. Our local parks offer a myriad of opportunities and activities for your outdoor time.

As a perfect place to socialize with friends and neighbors, parks contribute to the overall wellness of the communities that surround them. Gloucester is home to seven local parks, and a state park, packed with fun for anyone and everyone looking for the enrichment of the outdoors.

Larger parks

Three of the larger parks in Gloucester are the Gloucester Point Beach Park, Beaverdam Park and Woodville Park. Gloucester Point Beach Park is an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-accessible park located on Greate Road.
