Several local massage therapists have joined to form Gloucester Massage Therapy, located on Teagle Lane, just south of Gloucester Court House. The business specializes in Swedish, therapeutic, Thai, neuromuscular, prenatal and postnatal massage and more.

Therapists Agi Bahadar, Anne White and Katie Dates opened GMT last month, realizing their dream of creating a high quality, therapeutic and comforting massage space a reality. “We all love our work,” Bahadar said. “We’ve been working a long time and knew it was time to go out on our own, create our own vibe and our own mission.”

She said she and White each have 16 years of massage experience and Dates has several years under her belt. Bahadar, also a health and life coach, also offers Hawaiian Lomi Massage. Meanwhile, Dates offers special massages for women who are pregnant or who have recently had a child.
