Gloucester Library gears up for month-long holiday fun

Gloucester County Public Library has several holiday-themed activities planned for the month of December, all at its Main Street Center location.
On Dec. 4, children in kindergarten through fifth grade can participate in a Christmas ornament-making craft. Children are invited to get crafty and create several keepsake ornaments. This program begins at 6 p.m. Registration is now open.
The library will hold its Holiday Open House on Dec. 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The community is invited to enjoy light refreshments, craft activities and performances by Courthouse Community Orchestra and the Williamsburg A Capella Singers. This event is for all ages.
Santa Claus will be at the library on Dec. 13. Families can make an appointment to meet and take pictures with Santa from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This event is for all ages. Appointments are required. Registration opens Nov. 29.
