The Gloucester Brewing Company offers a range of craft beer in its front-and-center location on Main Street in Gloucester, including ales and lagers with such winning monikers as Hills Bay IPA, John Beere (its lawn mowing beer) and Shucking Good Oyster Stout. For snacks, locally crafted artisan popcorn and locally produced peanuts are available.

Owner Mike Brewer said the company’s mission is to “offer great craft beer in an inviting and comfortable space with unbeatable service that brings people to Gloucester again and again.” The wide range of beer styles offered ensures that guests will find something they like even if they’re not beer drinkers, he said.

“But what really sets us apart,” he said, “is the warm, inviting environment that makes folks feel like they are with family and old friends when they come in.”
