The Gloucester High School track team traveled to New Kent to participate in Saturday’s All-American Track Classic.The GHS boys’ 4x800 varsity team of Brandon Carucci, Ethan Gardiner, Ty Baker and Joshua Rodriguez-Cruz took fourth place in the event with a time of 10:11.44.
In the boys’ distance medley event, two teams from Gloucester finished in the top six. In fourth place was the team of Clayton Miller, Leo Berry, Tyler Hicks and Tanner Baker who recorded a time of 11:47.26. The team of Ian Waters, Owen Hogge, Joel Taylor and Joel Junker finished in sixth place with a time of 13.06.5.
The varsity girls’ distance medley team of Abigail Junker, McKayla Clark, Emily Shipe and Mya Baker finished in third with a time of 14.44.3.
