Gloucester High School is scheduled to graduate approximately 335 of its seniors in the school’s 72nd annual commencement exercises Saturday. The 2025 commencement ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. and will take place at Dukes Stadium, the school’s athletic field.
Leading this year’s class, and delivering addresses to their fellow graduates, will be valedictorian Kaylee Nicole Jones and salutatorian Lilly Elizabeth Riffe.
The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by senior Paige Willis and the senior chorus members will perform the National Anthem, the GHS Alma Mater and a rendition of “I Am Still Your Dreamer.”
GHS principal Dr. Stefan Mygas will give welcoming remarks. Duke of the Year Raelynn Hefferon will also provide her own remarks.
Senior Haylee Hartleben and Junior Hannah Symonds will take to the stage for the transfer of the senior class insignia to the Class of 2026.
Riffe and Jones will give their remarks, followed by comments from Superintendent Dr. Anthony Vladu.
Mygas will certify the graduates and Gloucester County School Board vice chair Anita Parker will confer the diplomas. Presentation of diplomas will be led by Mygas and Director of Counseling Matthew Lord.
After each diploma is presented, Mygas will present the Class of 2025 and students and staff will march away from the field.
