The Gloucester High School indoor track team competed in the Peninsula District Meet 1 last Wednesday at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton to kick off its season.

Girls

In the 55-meter dash, Deziray Bellinger finished in eighth with a time of 7.84 seconds.

In the 500-meter dash Reese Miller took fifth with a time of 1:29.64 and Peyton Sutton took 12th with a time of 1:35.14.

In the 1,000-meter run Hannah Broadwell took third with a time of 3:54.32. Annalise Helton took fourth with a time of 3:54.78. Mary VanFossen finished in fifth with 4:00.14. Madilyn Kadel took seventh with 4:03.64. McKayla Clark got eight with a time of 3:03.98. Hailey Pena-Hawk finished in twelfth with a time of 4:11.47.

In the 1,600-meter run Mya Baker finished in first with a time of 5:44.05. Mackenzie Alcorn grabbed second with 6:29.43 and Zoe Scott finished in third with 6:39.39. Chloe Sylvester took fifth with 6:45.26 and Casey Billings finished in sixth with a time of 7:02.20.
