GHS boys come out on top at away meet

The Gloucester High School boys’ cross country team defeated its opponents at Gosnold Hope Park last Wednesday, Oct. 5. The team faced Menchville, Woodside and Denbigh in the Peninsula District meet.

Rylan Allcorn finished first for GHS with a time of 16:56. Next for GHS was Joel Junker with a time of 17:47, followed by Ty Baker (JV) (18:19), Owen Hogge (18:31), Ethan Gardiner (18:32), Clayton Miller (18:37), Joel Taylor (JV) (19:08), Aiden Pincince (JV) (19:35), Karl Dean (19:49), Josh Rodriguez-Cruz (20:01), Ian Waters (20:27), Tyson Ferrie (20:34), Brandon Carucci (20:37), Cayden Felder (21:08), Dominic Turner (21:09), Mike Asnicar (21:13), Erik Waters (23:50) and David Collawn (JV) (25:35).

The boys won the meet with a team score of 17.
