GHS basketball suffers tough final week

The Gloucester High School boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams suffered a tough week, falling to Warwick and Phoebus on the road. These were the last games of regular season play.

The GHS boys fell to the Warwick Raiders, 64-46, Friday. Dylan Deyoung led the team in scoring with eight points, followed by Bryce Monroe and Alex VanVranken with four points each. The Lady Dukes fell to the Raiders, 56-10.

On Tuesday night, the Gloucester boys lost to the Phoebus Phantoms, 76-62. The Lady Dukes also fell to the Phantoms, 48-30.
