GHS basketball suffers string of losses

The Gloucester High School girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams did not fare well against their opponents this past week, falling to Warwick, Woodside and Heritage in each matchup.

Woodside

The Lady Dukes fell to Woodside, 57-26, during Friday night’s away game. Top scorers for the Gloucester girls were Cori Morgan with eight points and Sydney Taylor with seven points. Other scorers for the girls included Amari Marsh with four points, Joelle Forrest with three points, and Gabby Davison and Rylie Williams scoring two points apiece.

The Gloucester boys also suffered a tough loss to Woodside, falling 109-31.
