Gerald “Jerry” Minor, 94, of Bena, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was a longtime resident of the area, and a direct descendant of John William and Sarah Mouring Minor, who put strong family roots down along the York River in the 1800s. Numerous extended relatives in the Minor and Van Landingham families and longtime friend, Carol of Williamsburg, appreciate wonderful memories of a kind and playful gentleman who absolutely loved home cooking. Family and friends are welcome to assemble for a graveside service to honor Gerald, at 2 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021, at Rosewell Memorial Gardens, Providence Road.
