Rita Anderson of Ware Neck captured this photo of her groundhog, Georgie, enjoying breakfast with his squirrel buddies. “From my research, groundhogs are marmots. So are squirrels. For all purposes, groundhogs are just big squirrels,” Anderson said. “Our Georgie has found his relatives and seems to enjoy eating with them. He shows up every morning and sometimes again in the afternoon. It’s interesting to see how well he gets along with all the other birds and squirrels. He is always the center of attention!”
