Members of the Friends of Dragon Run will host a nature hike from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at FODR’s newest property, Dragon Flats, in Middlesex County on Farley Park Road. Nature guides will help to point out interesting plants, lichens and fungus on the forest floor and there will surely be birds flying in the canopy, and hikers will have views of the Dragon Run, a release stated. There is almost no elevation on the walk and participants will be given time to observe and take photos. Following the hike there will be snacks and time to socialize. Registration is available at www.dragonrun.org. If you plan to bring a guest, make sure you enter the guest’s name, email, and phone number. A few days before the event all who register will receive directions and updates. If you are bringing children, FODR will have scavenger hunt sheets for them during the hike. Not a member?
