The Abingdon Ruritan Club Citizenship & Patriotism Committee met recently to fold American flags that had been discarded because they were torn or damaged. A total of 158 flags were folded, plus numerous partial flag pieces that could not be folded. The flags will be properly burned at a future ceremony.
