With warmer days comes better news for fishing at Beaverdam Reservoir, according to park ranger Elizabeth Keefer. Anglers have reported catching largemouth bass and black crappie from shore using crank bait. One fisherman reported catching four bass, all weighing four pounds or more, from a boat. Another angler reported catching bass from shore using minnows. Beaverdam Park is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. through this Saturday, March 12, and from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. after that.
