THURSDAY
LIBRARY BOARD: The Mathews Library Board of Trustees will have a special meeting at 3 o’clock today, Thursday, Oct. 23, at Mathews Memorial Library to discuss the performance of an appointee/employee of the board.
KING’S DAUGHTERS & SONS: The Chesapeake Bay Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons will meet at noon today, Oct. 23, in the fellowship hall of New Point Friends Church. Pastor Kristie Askew will lead a Bible study.
FARM TALK: Mushroom grower Christian Brown of Mush Love and farmer Mark Zamanian of Blessed Harmony Farms will give a free talk on their farm products and provide a tasting at 6 o’clock this evening, Thursday, Oct. 23, at Mathews Museum, 200 Main Street, Mathews.
FRIDAY
HAUNTED TRAIL: A Haunted Trail will be open from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at 4783 Hickory Fork Road, Gloucester. Admission is $5, with proceeds to benefit Gloucester County’s Shop with a Cop.
