HATCHERY TOURS: Oyster Seed Holdings will hold Hatchery Tours and Tastings from 5–8 p.m. Friday at 425 Callis Wharf Road, Gwynn’s Island.
CARNIVAL: Gloucester’s Summer Kick-Off Carnival will be held from June 13–22 on the grounds of the former Page Middle School, 5644 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester. It will include carnival rides, games, a play zone, and fair food. Admission and parking is free. All-you-can-ride wristbands for $25 on-site, $20 in advance at gloucesterva.gov/tourism. Hours are 5-10 p.m. Thursday, June 19 and Fridays and 2-10 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
PARTY AT THE WHARF: The band Part Time will perform at Party at the Wharf from 5–9 p.m. Friday at 1039 Williams Wharf Road, Mathews. Food by Blues Cruze Street Diner and The Battered Batter. Gates open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $5. Cash beer and wine available.
