THURSDAY SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will hold a workshop on an unrestricted budget, outlining budget guidelines and hearing presentations from various departments, at 1 o’clock today, Thursday, Jan. 29, in the historic courthouse on Court Street. VDOT DESIGN HEARING: VDOT will hold a design public hearing from 4-6 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 29, at Gloucester Main Library, 6920 Main Street, Gloucester. It will be on a project to improve bicyclist and pedestrian travel along Fox Centre frontage on Route 17 and along Main Street from Route 17 to T.C. Walker Road.
