Eileen Marie Conner of Hayes, 66, died peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer on Nov. 17, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Eileen is preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Joseph Boyle of New Jersey, and John William Conner Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Eileen is survived by her two sons, Justin Ryan Conner of Steubenville, Ohio, and Bryan Joseph Conner of Hayes, and two grandchildren, Perzhia of New York, and Leland of Steubenville. Eileen is also survived by four sisters, Dianne Niblett of Hayes; Mary Wiggins of Damariscotta, Maine; Margaret Lawrence of Galloway, New Jersey, and Barbara Ann Boyle Schoolik of Florida; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Eileen was born in Philly, raised in New Jersey, spent 10 years in Gloucester and 20 years in the Bath-Brunswick area of Maine, then back to Jersey, as we all do. Eileen became a registered nurse as a second career at the University of Maine, and an advance degree at University of Phoenix. Subsequent to her diagnosis, Eileen retired as Director of Nursing in New Jersey and headed to her adopted home in Virginia.
A private memorial service and inurnment will be at a later date.
