The Gloucester varsity football team secured its first victory of the season on Thursday, beating Denbigh High School, 45-6, on the road.

In the game, Dylan Prentiss had nine carries for 119 yards and two rushing touchdowns and one catch for a 13-yard touchdown. Evan Frazier totaled 10 carries for 83 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Jayden Ganzenmuller had one carry for 25 yards and a touchdown and threw one completion for a touchdown.

The Dukes will look to build on this win as the team travels to Menchville on Saturday.
