The 20th annual Bay School Fine Arts Auction, “The Dragon Fly Soirée,” will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Bohannon home of Mary Digges and Linwood Burton. Dragon fly centerpieces such as the one shown here were designed and crafted by Eric and Patty Rosenberg and painted by local artists. They will be displayed on stands built by The Village Blacksmith. Dominion Energy is the event’s title sponsor, which is also supported by Bush Construction, Custom Comfort by Winn, and Chesapeake Bank. Larry Makowski of Express Auctioneers will run the auction, the White Dog Bistro is catering the event, and the Flattones are playing music for dancing. ...
