Doing good works

Misti West and her daughter Kenzie teamed up last week to clean up half of Line Fence Road and Guinea Road between Line Fence and Severn Wharf, taking advantage of family cleanup kits that the Gloucester Clean Community office now has available to borrow. You can keep your social distance from others, while doing good with your family, Clean Community Coordinator Elisabeth Wilkins said. All equipment is sanitized twice, and you pick it up contact-free from the backyard of the Stewart Building on Main Street on Fridays after noon, or Saturday mornings. The kits include sturdy trash bags, trash grabbers, safety vests and report forms. The next kit pickup will be this Friday, April 10. Reserve your kit online at: http://tinyurl.com/CleanGlo.
