Four Thomas Hunter Middle School eighth grade band students were selected during auditions on Jan. 7 at Grafton School Complex in York County to participate in District VIII Band, to be held Feb. 2-4 at Woodside High School in Newport News. Performances will be on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. for middle school, 2 p.m. for concert band, and 3 p.m. for symphonic band.
