Deltas sink Pirates, host undefeated Pandas Saturday

The Deltaville Deltas stayed hot Saturday night, defeating the Richmond Pirates by 20 runs, and fell the Richmond Brewers on Tuesday night in Richmond. The Deltas sit comfortably atop the Richmond NABA’s Eastern Division standings, with a 5-2 record.

The Deltas will be up against a tough challenge on Saturday night, as they host the undefeated Richmond Trash Pandas of the league’s Western Division. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Deltas travel to Tappahannock for a 3 p.m. road contest at Essex High School. Deltaville hit the road again on Wednesday for a second matchup with the Trash Pandas, this time in a 7 p.m. game at J.R. Tucker High School in Richmond.
