Summer baseball returns to Deltaville Ballpark for the 76th year this weekend as the Deltaville Deltas take the field for the start of the 2023 season.

The Deltas, once again competing in the Richmond National Adult Baseball Association, finished last summer with a record of 15-4, falling in the championship series in mid-August. This year, the Deltas have 17 games on the schedule, with hopes of adding a few more, which include 11 home games at Deltaville Ballpark.

Action kicks off this Saturday night as the Deltas take on their decades-long rival, the Tappahannock Tides. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The 2023 Deltas roster retains many members of past years’ squads. These players will be joined by a host of newcomers from across the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck, as well as college players connected to the local area.
