The deadline for the Bayside Youth Ballet’s tuition-free Summer Dance Experience has been extended. Parents now have until Friday to sign their children up for the program, which will be held July 16-20 at the Diggs School of Dance, Gloucester.

Campers, ages 4-9, will learn about dance and be introduced to classical ballet with the goal of providing rich experiences for them to enjoy and encourage an appreciation for the art of dance. 

The program will be directed by three professional dance instructors with assistance from dancers from Bayside Youth Ballet, ages 13-18. Music appreciation and crafts will enhance the weeklong half-day camp.

The camp is open to children from Gloucester, Mathews, Middlesex and Lancaster counties not currently enrolled at Diggs School of Dance or who have not previously participated in the camp.
