Craig Scott Gwyn, 55, of Gloucester, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 9, 2020 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born November of 1964 to Boyd and Patricia Gwyn. Craig graduated from Gloucester High School in 1984. He was a contractor alongside his father for many years while ending his working career as an electrician. Craig is survived by his mother, Patricia Gwyn; daughters, Holly Gwyn and Heather Marshall (Kenny); nephew, Joshua Gwyn (Marie); sister, Dawn Killilea (Michael), and brother, Mark Gwyn. Along with grandchildren, Robert, Molly, Waylon and Loralei, he leaves behind a huge family including nieces and cousins, that all love him so much. Craig was a man of God’s word, touching so many lives on his path. A kind, caring and loving soul that will be missed and never forgotten.

We would like to thank the amazing Hospice team, Dr. Lockhart and Suzanne for providing such wonderful care. Memorial contributions can be made out to Newington Baptist Church, 6169 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061 with attention to Be About It Ministry which Craig was a huge part of. A memorial service will be held at Newington Baptist Church, on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, at 3 p.m. for close family and friends. Arrangements by Nelsen Funeral Home and Crematory, Williamsburg.
