Coyle installed as Head of CCS

William J. “Billy” Coyle was installed as the 17th Head of Christchurch School at St. Peter’s Chapel at a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 8, on the Middlesex County school’s campus. The Episcopal service also included rededication of the newly restored/renovated St. Peter’s.

Prior to starting as Head at Christchurch on July 1, Coyle was Director of Finance and Operations at Palm Beach Day Academy in Florida. He was part of the leadership team during a period of growth in enrollment and charitable giving, while overseeing significant departments of the school.

Previous experiences include time at the Forman School and Taft School, both boarding schools in Connecticut. Coyle was a college quarterback and has coached youth and high school football, basketball, and softball. Before entering the independent school world, he spent nine years in private business finance, accounting, and management. Billy and his wife, Mary, have two grown children, Amanda and Ryan.
