Representatives from Chesapeake Bank and Chesapeake Wealth Management recently presented the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic with $15,000 as a “Clinic Hero” Community Health Partner. “Chesapeake Bank and Chesapeake Wealth Management have been longtime partners with the Clinic, and we’re grateful for their continued kindness,” said Vicky Gunn, vice president of the clinic’s board of directors. “Through their help, we’re providing care to those in need without health insurance, and that’s a huge impact on our community.” Dianne Hall, executive vice president of retail for Chesapeake Bank added, “We’re proud to support something that is making such a difference in the quality of life for so many in our community.” A portion of the gift will support the clinic’s upcoming Casino Night, “Vegas by the Bay,” which is scheduled for March 9 at the Abingdon Ruritan Club, Bena.
