‘Circle of Friends’ gift giveaway

The Friends of the Lewis B. Puller Center gathered Saturday afternoon at a home on Fletcher Road in Gloucester to hand out holiday gifts to the clients who are a part of VersAbility’s Puller Center. The private home was selected because it had a large circular driveway that allowed for cars to cue up individually for the distribution. In all, about 40 clients received gifts, according to Pat Stover. The Ladies of the Illusion helped with the gift buying, making sure that all got the presents on their wish lists. Normally, the Friends of the Puller Center hold an annual Christmas breakfast at the Pilot House in Topping. This year, that event couldn’t be held, but the Pilot House still helped out, providing food and cookies, Stover said. Stover is shown handing out one of the gifts.
