Christchurch School to host lax tournament

On Friday and Saturday, Christchurch School in Middlesex County will host the annual Daniel T. Nolan Lacrosse Tournament at the school’s Dischinger Field.

Participating teams are Kiski School (Saltsburg, Pa.), Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg), Trinity Episcopal School (Richmond) and CCS. The action starts at 2 p.m. Friday with CCS and VES, followed by Kiski and Trinity at 5. The consolation game will begin at noon Saturday, with the championship game at 3.

The tournament is held each year to honor Dan Nolan, Christchurch administrator and lacrosse coach who died of ALS in 1992. Nolan founded the CCS team in 1979. There is no cost for admission, and the public is invited to attend.
