Charles J. Miano, 89, of White Marsh, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

Mr. Miano was born in Bellevue, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rose Miano, and daughter, Charlene Miano.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, receiving three Bronze Stars. Mr. Miano had worked for the CSX Railroad in Newport News for 33 years, and was a lifetime member of the Warwick Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Miano; two sons, J. Ronald Miano and Glenn Miano; stepdaughter, Susan Slaughter; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
